5 Minutes With - Lauren Harvey

At The SaaSy People we have an amazing team working across a range of accounts, so we thought we would give you the chance to get to know them a little better.

This week we spoke to Lauren Harvey! Lauren joined the team at the end of 2020 and is one of our brilliant dedicated agents.

Q. What is your role at The SaaSy People?

I am a dedicated customer service representative, but am also writing some articles and blog posts for my client as well.  

Q. How long have you been with The SaaSy People?

I joined in December 2020 as a dedicated agent for another client, however as my current account was being onboarded I told Reece that I had worked in a similar field previously, so have prior knowledge of the product and the customers needs. Its worked out really well! 

Q. Whats your favourite food?

Anything with cheese! I just love cheese! 

Q. What would you say makes an Exceptional Customer Support Experience?

I would say keep everyone involved happy, and keep the communication channels as open and active as possible. 

You know the phrase ‘happy wife happy life’ well I was trying to think of a rhyme that fits customers and came up with ‘a happy customer base, you’ve a smile on your face’.

Q. What has been your favourite holiday and where would you love to go?

I think everyone needs a holiday at the moment! Me and my partner went to south east Asia and it was amazing, so we would love to do that again. 

I’m also engaged and the plan was to get married in Greece, so we may need to wait a while for that but that’s absolutely the plan, hopefully soon!

Q. If you had one piece of advice for a business trying to get your customer support right what would it be?

Again it’s communication. For customers to have the best experience the whole business needs to be supporting the customer support team. Since working at The SaaSy People I’ve realised how important it is to get your communication right, if the whole team aren’t communicating it may leave customers waiting, and that’s so frustrating as a customer. It’s so nice that at SaaSy we haven’t let our customers face this problem. 

Q.If you were a small to medium business owner, would you feel comfortable outsourcing your customer service?

100%! I love the way that SaaSy works so well for growing businesses, as they can scale the support when it suits them.  I hadn’t really known about outsourced customer support before, but SaaSy are so unique and great. I would definitely want something like this if I were a business owner.
